§ The Sunrise Call
Thirty minutes,
at sunrise.
No deck. No pitch. No charge. A conversation about the work you do, the press you'd want, and whether 701am is the desk to earn it for you.
What we'll cover
- The angle you've been sitting on — or the one you don't know you have.
- Where it lands. Which reporters, which beats, which outlets.
- What earned media actually costs in time, attention, and trade-offs.
- Whether 701am is the right desk for the work — and what we'd do first.
What it isn't
- A sales call. We do not chase. If the fit isn't there, we say so.
- A creative pitch. We don't workshop ideas on a first call.
- A free strategy session. We'll be candid, not exhaustive.
- A commitment. Either side can walk after thirty minutes.

★ Mornings are for work. Afternoons are for the press. ★
I take a small number of these each week, and I prefer them at sunrise local time — when the day hasn't yet been touched by anyone else's plan. If the slots you see don't fit, write me directly at dk@701am.com and we'll find a window.
