A letter to the dentist who still has a website that works

How to put the practice on the phone they already carry.

Patients do not bookmark the office. They forget the cleaning until the postcard arrives — if it arrives. We take the site you already run, put it on iOS or Android — or both — and submit it in under 7 days. One store is $1,750. Both are $2,500. There is no charge on this form.

Dear dentist,

Every six months the hygienist is ready. The chair is ready. The patient is not. They meant to call. They meant to open the email. They meant to find the number they used to know by heart.

A website is a destination they have to remember. An icon is a habit. If the next cleaning depends on a postcard, you are competing with whoever is already one thumb away — not a better dentist. A louder phone.

That is the whole problem. The rest of this letter is what to do about it.

The leak

Recall is a request. The home screen is a reminder they cannot misplace.

The postcard sits under mail. The “you’re due” email is the one they archive on the train. The portal login they made in 2019 is a password they will never recover on purpose.

A store listing is a place in the operating system. Book the hygienist. See the next opening. Get a tap when a slot frees up — not a blast, a useful ping. Same office. Same scheduling. Same name. On the phone they already unlock a hundred times a day.

Patients do not grade your practice-management stack. They grade whether they can book Tuesday without calling the front desk and waiting through lunch.

The work

You don’t need a dental-app vendor. You need a listing for the office you already run.

If patients can book on the website, they can book on a phone. Same chairs. Same hygienists. Same name on the door. On iOS, Android, or both, in under 7 days. You are not becoming a software company. You are putting an icon where the patient already is.

The offices that wait for a custom native rebuild are often still mailing recall in year three. The fastest path is to list the site you already run. Then you iterate. Shipping is the strategy. The store is the channel.

How it works

Here is the work, with nothing hidden.

You send the practice website. You choose one store or both. We build, submit, and keep the listing in good standing. There is no 80-page plan. If it runs in a browser, we can put it on a phone.

  1. 01

    Send the website

Your name, your email, and the URL. Note whether you want iOS or Android, or both.

  2. 02

    We build and submit

iOS, Android, or both from the first week. Typical time to a submitted listing is under 7 days.

  3. 03

    Go live, and stay live

App Store Management + Code Updates is $99 for one store, $150 for both. Staying listed is the job.

If you want to see it on a phone first, request a preview. I send it within 24 hours. No charge.

Who you write to

I have been doing this work for founders since 2007.

There is no account manager. You write to me, and I write back. I reply from dk@701am.com, usually the same day.

Sincerely,

David Krug

The order

Two prices. Nothing else to decode.

You are paying to ship a listing of the site you already run — not to invent a company. If we cannot list it, you owe nothing.

One store
iOS or Android
$1,750to ship

Then $99 · App Store Management + Code Updates

  • Built from the site you already run
  • You choose iOS or Android
  • Submitted in under 7 days
Start with one store
Most owners pick this
iOS + Android
$2,500to ship both

Then $150 · App Store Management + Code Updates

  • The same site, on both stores
  • App Store and Google Play
  • Submitted in under 7 days
List both stores

Your name, email, and URL. There is no charge on this form. I will tell you if we can list it.

If you are unsure, send the website anyway. I write from dk@701am.com.

Before you send it

The questions people ask. Answered in full.

Will this replace our practice software?

No. We wrap the site patients already use — booking, the office, the same name. We do not rip out your practice-management system. Typical time from the URL to a submitted listing is under 7 days.

Do I pay on this form?

No. Send your name, email, and the practice website. I reply from dk@701am.com. If we proceed, one store is $1,750 to ship, then $99 App Store Management + Code Updates. Both stores are $2,500, then $150.

Can I see mine on a phone first?

Yes. Send the URL. I wrap the site and send you the preview within 24 hours. No charge for that either.

Who do I talk to?

Me. David Krug. There is no account manager. I have been shipping for founders since 2007.

Other letters

I wrote this out for a few kinds of businesses.

See all of them — or read the letter for doctors, spas, or salons.

The next cleaning should not depend on a postcard.

Send the practice website. Choose one store or both. There is no charge on the form. I will tell you if we can list it.

Send the site

P.S. If a chair sits empty because someone “meant to call,” that is a home-screen problem, not a clinical one. Request a preview and I send yours within 24 hours. Request a preview.
